Rio’s Carnival, opera house, concert halls and music clubs sell tickets through their own websites and box offices.

The Sambódromo
In 2027 the Special Group parades on 7, 8 and 9 February. Buy only through LIESA’s official channels (liesa.org.br); resale sites may charge far more, and tickets bought from them may not be genuine.
Opera, concerts and music
The safest way to buy is through the venue’s own website or box office. The Theatro Municipal presents opera, ballet and concerts; the Sala Cecília Meireles chamber and classical music; the Cidade das Artes orchestras and big productions; Circo Voador and Blue Note Rio Brazilian music and jazz.
