About BioParque do Rio
The BioParque do Rio is the city’s zoo, in the Quinta da Boa Vista park at São Cristóvão, close to the São Cristóvão metro and train station. It opens Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm; a visit takes about two and a half hours. Buy tickets on its site.
